Illustrator and online teacher

Mali

Mali [surname]

Mali is a freelance illustrator who has spent years teaching adults who 'can't draw'. She believes drawing is a skill you practise, not a talent you're born with.

I started with small café workshops. The question I heard most was “do I need experience?” You don't — just a little time each day and a sketchbook.

So Inkling courses are short 5–15 minute lessons, each ending in an exercise you can actually do — with my own good and not-so-good attempts, so you can see where everyone starts.
